THE SMALL PRINT
Any individual, or group of individuals, can hire a space at the event to sell their pre-loved, top quality Ladies' Fashion.
A space or table will be provided as booked, with plenty of chairs available.
You then present your clothes in an aesthetically pleasing way to maximise your chance of selling your garments.
If someone wants to buy something from you, any money taken is solely for you, the stallholder(s). Flipping Fashion does not take any commission.
You can decide your own pricing and what method of payment you will accept (see below for help with card payments if needed).
We love sharing our passion for re-selling our pre-loved clothing but in order for the event to run smoothly, please could you follow these guidelines:
- Please only sell clothes in a condition that is as near to new as possible - a condition that you would be happy to buy for yourself or to give as a gift.
- Please don't include
- items of underwear,
- garments that are shabby or torn (unless this is the "look"!),
- garments that look second hand,
- garments that are obviously not intended for adult women.
- Flipping Fashion reserves the right to decline any bookings not deemed to be suitable for our events or to ask stallholders to remove items from sale if they do not comply with the ethos of top quality ladies' fashion.
- We don't want to go down the jumble sale theme so please present your clothes in as good a condition as possible - clean, ironed if necessary and with no obvious stains or sign of wear.
- There is no discount if you wish to bring your own table/rail etc but please do not sell out of boxes. At most events a table is provided free if booked.
- Tables/space must be paid for at the time of booking.
- Payments are to be made online via our website or by arrangement with Flipping Fashion
- Flipping Fashion will decide on the stall layout but if you have any special requirements such as being positioned next to a friend or in a certain area, please do contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
- Cancellations will only be accepted up to one week before the event.
After this ie within one week of the event, 75% refund for table/space will be given only if we can resell your space/table. - In the unlikely event the event is cancelled, stallholders will receive a full refund of their stall fee.
- Tables are 6ft x 2ft approx and rail spaces will be equivalent size with a small gap between each stall for access. Please make sure that any extra equipment does not encroach on another stallholder's space or block the passageways.
- Doors will open to set up at 11am and open for buyers at 12noon. The event will close at 3pm - please do not break down your stall beforehand.
- The stallholders agree to indemnify Flipping Fashion against all claims for damages or injury to the property or person(s) in respect of any claim by any person arising out of negligence or from any faulty or dangerous product sold by the stallholders.
- Flipping Fashion accepts no responsibility or liability for the quality or condition of items purchased at our events - all items are sold as seen - and does not accept any responsibility for any transactions entered into during the event.
- Flipping Fashion shall not be held responsible for the non-compliance by a stallholder with any law, By-Law, Regulation, Act or Statute.
- Stallholders are solely responsible for the safety of any accompanying children or pets.
TIPS
- Please use a tablecloth if you are using a table.
- If you can get hold of a rail (limited numbers to hire from Flipping Fashion) your clothes will always present better hanging. Please provide your own hangers.
- It's a good idea to have your bank details handy so that if people don't have enough cash to purchase from you, and if you don't have facilities to accept card payments, they can bank transfer.
- If that doesn't work, so that you don't lose a sale, I can take money from your customer on my card machine on your behalf then transfer you the money.
- Please don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions at all!
Thanks
Janet
